There are more and more distinctive political activists and their voice can no longer be ignored or treated condescendingly. Here are two of the most influential women among many, who deserve attention - it is becoming increasingly difficult to choose the top.
1. Kamala Harris
The first woman to hold the post of Vice President of the United States who effectively took office, a political scientist and lawyer. Before her, only Geraldine Ferraro in 1984 and Sarah Palin in 2008 held the position. She is also the first person of a race other than white in this position - her mother is from India, her father is from Jamaica. At the beginning of her career, she specialized in cases of sexual abuse of children.
In 2011, she became the Attorney General of California and held this position until 2016, when she became a senator for the state on behalf of the Democratic Party. In the Senate, she worked in the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs, the Select Committee on Intelligence, the Judiciary Committee and the Budget Committee. 1. Susan Wojcicki
The daughter of Stanley Wojcicki, a physicist of Polish origin, and the Jewish journalist, Esther Wojcicki. Initially, after studying history and literature at Harvard and economics, she worked at Intel. In 1998, she rented her garage to Sergey Brin (privately her brother-in-law) and Larry Page, where they founded Google Inc. A year later, she was already heading Google's marketing department, and in 2000 she became the vice president of Google. She was responsible for the first doodles (graphics you see when you go to the Google homepage), oversaw the implementation of various Google products, including Google Images, Google Books and Google Video. In 2014, she moved to the position of president of YouTube. Together with her husband, Dennis Troper, they have five children.
2. Master of her time - Ola Budzyńska

Ola was a trainer of soft skills in corporations and a master of packing suitcases. The situation of her son (who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes) prompted her to start the Pani Swojego Czasu blog. After receiving the Nobel Prize, the writer founded the Olga Tokarczuk Foundation. The organization supports and promotes Polish culture, including writers and translators, actions for human rights, including against discrimination and limiting civil liberties, and supports environmental protection, including the fight for animal rights.
