Branded clothing always catches the eye. Until now, a large company logo on clothes was regarded as a mere show of snobbism. However, the latest season has changed the perception of XXL-sized logos – from being seen as tacky, the logo has become one of the biggest current fashion trends. So, how to wear it without crossing the fine line of good taste?

A company logo on clothes – tacky or this season's hit?

It has been generally assumed that visible logos, clothes with a well-known label, and bags signed with the name of a recognizable brand testify to a person's financial status and social position. However, in this day and age, when the boundary between social groups is blurring and fashion is becoming a tool for expressing oneself and the opportunity to reveal one's personality, branded clothes are changing their original character.

Today, we pair a Gucci bag with a logo with a jacket that we found in a second-hand shop, and we put a denim jacket, which we inherited from parents or older siblings, over a T-shirt with a large Balmain inscription. Vintage and branded clothes create a duo that is now considered an example of the best understanding of fashion trends.

Break branded clothes with a vintage aesthetics

Clothes with a company logo, which is recognizable even by the biggest fashion layman, can still evoke many emotions. How to style them to avoid accusations of snobbism or flaunting wealth? It's good to break the company logo on clothes with other elements of the outfit, which are not necessarily dominated by a large inscription with the name of a chic fashion house.

The aforementioned mix of styles, using vintage clothes or reclaimed clothes, is not only trendy, but also makes your outfit much more interesting. It's not an art to dress from head to toe in the most desirable brand. To create an intriguing outfit, a bit of imagination is needed, even if you have such brands as Saint Laurent, Gucci, or Balenciaga at your disposal.

Branded clothes from head to toe?

A good rule remains moderation, especially when it comes to branded logos. Choose your clothes so that only one element stands out with a recognizable brand name. The rest, although still branded, does not have to "scream" and indicate that it is very luxurious. Choose a bag, T-shirt, or shoes with the name of a known brand, and let the rest remain the background for this exceptional element of the outfit. After all, no one wants to become a walking advertisement, even if it's to advertise the most luxurious fashion house.

However, if you like to play with fashion and approach it with a considerable distance, branded clothes can be a way to express a certain kind of fashion statement. Stars are not afraid to pair Fendi shoes and a jacket of the same brand, which prominently displays the logo. The latest Fendi collection is literally emblazoned with the company's name, which can ultimately be seen as a flaunting of a particular way of dressing. This, however, works only when two or three elements of the outfit are coherent - for example, through the shared logo of a known brand. This creates a balanced whole and is not seen as a blatant attempt to show off one's status, but rather as a styling created with a solid awareness of fashion and trends.

Clothes with a company logo, which is well recognizable, carry the risk of being judged as snobbish, but fortunately, this season, this risk is close to zero. The trend for clear company logos on clothes still applies and gives us the freedom to wear favorite brands with almost no restrictions.
